About Us

Dee Why FC is one of the oldest and most popular family clubs in Sydney and the oldest club in the Manly Warringah Football Association.
Dee Why FC field teams in all age brackets ranging from Under 6’s through to Open Age men’s representation in the top Manly Warringah leagues (over 30 teams).
The club has been in existence since 1946 and in that time we have had approx. 26,000+ different people use our training facilities, come along to our training sessions or play for one of our 31+ teams.
The club also has very strong links to its local community and to various local Primary and High Schools, businesses and Community Clubs and our members also participate in Fundraising for charitable events on a regular basis.
We are driven to provide quality coaching at an early age and always encourage volunteer Mums and Dads to get5 involved in either coaching or managing a team.
In 2017 DYFC started an Academy and appointed Ryan Doidge as Technical Advisor as well as being appointed as Premier League Coach. Holding an “A” Licence is quite an achievement and is on the way to becoming a full time professional coach.
The opportunity for former players and or anyone with or without experience in the game to become a professional coach since the FFA introduced The Advance Pathway Coaching Courses.
DYFC has embraced this opportunity and encourage any member to look doing any free
community courses available or as mentioned the FFA Advanced Pathway
